QUALTY MANAGEMENT PLAN

AIM Design & Development’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) encompasses strategies, procedures, and standards to ensure the project meets or exceeds the client's quality expectations. The core components of AIM’s comprehensive QMP include:

Construction Heads having a discussion over a Design

Quality Objectives

- Specific, measurable quality goals aligned with the client's requirements and industry standards.  For example:  achieve a less than 1% defect rate upon project completion, ensuring all materials meet specified standards.

Quality Standards

- AIM will meet with client to outline the standards and benchmarks that the project must comply with and will include local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Upon selection of the GC and subcontractors, the Quality Management Team will be appointed.  The Quality Management Team, Under the direction of the Quality Manager from AIM, will be responsible for overseeing all quality aspects of the project.

Quality Assurance (QA)

- Regular audits and process reviews will be performed to ensure adherence to documented methodologies.

Quality Control (QC)

- Project specific inspection and testing procedures will developed to ensure that the work output meets the established quality standards. This will include incoming material inspection, in-process inspections, and final inspections before handover.

- Testing procedures for critical elements of the construction, including structural components, electrical systems, and plumbing will be created prior to construction phase of the project.

Training and Awareness

- AIM will ensure that all project team members and subcontractors are aware of the quality requirements and are trained in the relevant quality procedures and best practices.

Communication

- Clear lines of communication regarding quality matters will be established among team members, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders. Regular meetings, reports, and updates will aid in maintaining transparency and addressing issues promptly.

Execution and Monitoring

- Regular quality review meetings and audits will be scheduled to monitor quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the project stays on track to meet or exceed the established quality objectives.

The above QMP tailored to the specific needs and complexities of this project is essential for delivering a successful construction project. It helps in managing expectations, reducing rework, and ensuring a high level of quality in the final deliverable.
